Welcome to my first ever web blog. Hopefully you will enjoy some of the same things I do and will find the contents of these pages interesting and informing.
Besides the excitements of my livelihood I have many other hobbies and interests and will share some of these with viewers throughout the year. Starting off though, the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, Thanksgiving, and the annual Thanksgiving Rodeo School are the biggest things coming up.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after Thanksgiving, Wes Stevenson (one of my traveling partners and member of the Wolf Pack) hosts a rodeo school in Malakoff, Texas, at PRCA Stock Contractor Stace Smith’s Ranch. All the proceeds go to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund. We have a lot of fun and buck a ton of horses. To learn more about this great event, go to www.thanksgivingrodeo.org or come check out the pics and stories here next week.
The school really helps prepare me for the Wrangler NFR that starts Dec. 6 and goes 10 consecutive days in Las Vegas, Nev. Every day we get the honor of riding at the most exiting Rodeo in the World, held at the Thomas and Mack Center. A Wrangler NFR ticket is one of the hardest to come by as the event is sold out every night. For more detailed information on the Wrangler NFR and the other events surrounding rodeo’s “Super Bowl” visit www.prorodeo.com or www.nfrexperience.com. You can watch the rodeo nightly on ESPN2. For a complete TV schedule go to prorodeo.com.
More stuff will come in as soon as possible but in the meantime take a look around.
Thanks,
Will
